*Job Title: Director of Sales

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time


  • Make sales projection for the organization and ensures targets are met.
  • Build database of potential clients and manage relationships
  • Work closely with the general manager and executive director to determine appropriate sales strategies in all market segments towards maximizing hotel revenues.
  • Would be responsible for full of occupancy of hotel rooms, conferences and banquettes
  • Evaluates and drives the hotel’s participation in the various sales channels, market sales, event booking centres, electronic lead channels, etc.
  • Provides positive and productive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential (e.g., sets example with personal booking goals).
  • In charge of training and supervising of the hotel’s sales team
  • Act as brand ambassador representing organisation at client events and tradeshows.
  • Manage all sales & marketing related activities with team: Revenue Management, PR & Communication. Oversee digital marketing, sales, loyalty, partnerships & business analytics
  • Maintain and continuously improve product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations
  • Review budgets / forecasts with GM’s, Executive Director and other stakeholders
  • Analyze sales, marketing competitive positioning, and market trends in all markets for optimizing results and impact on hotel results

Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum of first Degree.
  • MBA is an added advantage.
  • Membership of a related professional body.

Minimum Experience

  • 10-15 Years with at least 5 years as Director of Sales.

  • Develop, recommend, and manage the firm marketing plan.
  • Recommend markets and projects to pursue.
  • Follow up new business opportunities, set up meetings, make presentations and close deals.
  • Oversee the development of marketing literature
  • Provide management with feedback
  • Deliver sales target
  • Explore synergies that would generate revenue
  • Act as brand ambassador representing organisation at client events and tradeshows.
  • Build database of potential clients and manage relationships
  • Administrative duties related to the work
  • Initiate and drive cross-selling activities with other offices, support on RFPs, pitches and capability statements

  • Planning and directing administration, operations and financials of the firm on behalf of the CEO
  • Acts as an adviser to the CEO and senior management team
  • Assist the CEO in facilitating effective decision making
  • Organises a calendar and keeps track of multiple projects/events as relates to the office of the CEO
  • Participate in regular meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Programme management.
  • Takes up other responsibilities as directed by the CEO
  • Supervision & Coaching-Good sounding board for others – provide open & honest feedback
  • Administrative support
  • Assess inquiries directed to the CEO, determine the proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individual to manage
  • Overseeing and managing highly prioritized projects

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a Masters degree, PhD is a plus

*Job Title: General Manager

Location: Lagos

  • The General Manager will principally be responsible for all the operations of the business
  • In charge of opening Letters of Credit with the Bank
  • The General Manager would ensure all documentations and standards are met (e.g. securing certificate of conformity where necessary)
  • He/she would be in charge of Logistics like engagement of vessels of required capacity
  • He/she would be responsible for the oversight of the clearing and discharging of products imported into the petroleum tank farm within the Lagos – Apapa axis.
  • The GM would observe the market, identify trends and monitor main competitors.
  • The GM would manage the bulk sale of the products stored in the tank farm.
  • The GM would ensure that activities are properly executed within the organization.
  • He/she will be responsible for managing all areas of operations to ensure revenues; profits and return on investment are maximized.
  • The GM would accomplish organisational objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements
  • The GM would allocate resources, review progress and make mid-course corrections.
